Startup Canada Tour: Café Liégeois to represent the coffee sector in Montréal
Event at Salon 1861:
In the framework of the #EveryEntrepreneur tour by Startup Canada, we spent the day of October 28th in one of the oldest Catholic churches on the island of Montreal. Weird, no? Today it was transformed and renamed under the name "Salon 1861". This special place hosted the cream of entrepreneurship in the region, seeking contacts, skills and any kind of business opportunity. It was also the place to celebrate the innovations and entrepreneurship of certain guests, business owners, and startup investors.
Coffee partner of Startup Canada:
We were present and most important the coffee partners for this event, where we served our products throughout the day. It was also the ideal opportunity to present our range of products and our services for offices/businesses. Café Liégeois came out with awesome business opportunities!
Our partnership was thus extended with these well-known organizers in the entrepreneur sector. Ten entrepreneurs had the opportunity to present their startup to an attentive public. They carried out a three-minute sales pitch in order to answer the concerns of Deloitte Canada and "Je fais mtl".
Meeting with Second Cup :
It was also the opportunity to meet and quickly discuss with the founder of the Second Cup Company, Frank O'Dea. He addressed his admiration for the youth in Café Liégeois and his encouragements for a future that’s is bright!
